We work with young people aged 15-25 through our mentoring and school engagement programs, helping them to build coping skills and resilience to break the cycle of disadvantage.

Our programs support young people experiencing vulnerability, disadvantage and crisis. 

We provide early intervention for at-risk youth to restore family unity to build trust and break the cycle of disadvantage.

Detour Early Intervention Program

Detour youth coaches support disadvantaged youth who are at risk of homelessness. This program uses a strength-based approach with case management and strengthens family relationships, social networks and creates life opportunities.

Creating Connections

Creating Connections is a program for young people aged 16-25 years-old who are experiencing homelessness. We support young people into the private rental market, education and training courses and help them find jobs so they can live independently.

School Focused Youth Services

School Focused Youth Services (SFYS) is a program that supports targeted interventions for vulnerable youth from years 5 to 12 who are at risk of disengaging from education. SFYS also supports capacity building in educational facilities through working with teachers, principals, and wellbeing workers.

Reconnect

Reconnect provides case management and support for young people aged 10-21 years-old, who have been in Australia for less than 5 years. The program strengthens and supports young people with their peers, family, community and culture.

Family Reconciliation

This program assists young people who are experiencing homeless or at risk of homelessness to improve connections with their family. The program works with family members to overcome challenges, while supporting the young person’s engagement with education, relationships with family and friends, housing, and community connection.

Youth Homelessness Support Program

This program supports young people aged 15-25 years, who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness to find and maintain safe and affordable housing. The program provides practical support to help young people become self-sufficient and independent.

Youth Live4Life

We run youth and teen mental health first aid education.

Creating Connections Education Employment Pathways (CEEP)

CEEP supports young people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness to access education, employment, and training.

We assist young people to purchase uniforms, books, tools, education fees, computers, public transport, and other related expenses.

Up to $1200 per year is available if you are eligible.  

CEEP can be accessed by young people who are:

  • 15-25 years old
  • Based or have links to the eastern metropolitan region of Melbourne
  • Experiencing homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Experiencing difficulties in accessing education or employment.
